This was taken at Belleview Elementary in Colorado where I encountered my first photographer.
She wanted to take my pic & there my love of photos began!!
Looking at it makes me wish I could re-wind and enjoy my childhood all over again. Those were the days!! Lemme tell ya...Cinnamon toast crunch for breakfast, playing on the playground with friends, being a girl scout & the only fights worth getting in were about someone stealing my crayons :) Time flies...
How old were you when you had your first camera to explore the world through? I remember when I was around the age of seven...and I had some cheap little plastic number that I put black and white film in and just went around taking photos. I remember my surprise when I went to pick them up from being processed at around 2 cents a print...and they were cool. I took a few close-up shots of a wooden fence around a convent...and it came out a little surreal. Would love to have them pics today.
